video insert into newsletter content
Like the ability to insert a video into the newsletter content, similar to inserting an image. There would be an article or a line item stating what the video is about indicating to click on the video, which would play within the newsletter. I.e. insert a video box, upload the video, insert the video into the video box, click on the video box and the video plays.

The trouble with just adding a link to a video...is that people are less likely to actually click to watch. Having the video accessible within the email itself makes it easier/more convenient and would increase the likelihood of recipients engaging.
As for the idea that filters will be triggered: We're currently trying to switch our mass communications from another platform that includes this feature. We've used it several times and have never had an issue with people not receiving the email.

This is not considered a good practice because having a video triggers a lot of filters on email providers. This means that many folks will not even get the email. Instead, you should link to your videos so that they can easily be accessed and the email is delivered.
