Add Option of covering credit card fee as part of donation

Other donor databases/systems give the option for the donor to cover the credit card fee as part of the donation. It's a box that can be checked and the 2.5-3% is added to their donation to cover the credit card fee that is charged to us. We lose $1000s each year to credit card fees and this would help us with that, while still allowing blackbaud to receive their fees. This should be part of the DIY forms.

This would be extremely useful. We loose a lot of money due to this. You folks should really prioritize this. Folks who use your software are literally loosing money due to this :-(

Agreed. I have used this feature with other platforms and a majority of donors accepted the offer--it helps offset cost for nonprofit while offering a service most donors and sponsors expect.

We have been hesitating on fully implementing online giving through BBMS because the DIY forms do not give us the option to invite donors to cover the transaction fees. Most of our online donors via Network for Good select this option, saving the organization thousands of dollars each year. Please consider adding this feature to the DIY forms and gift processing capabilities.
