We send out French letters to our French speaking donors. We have gone through the trouble of translating the letter from English into French, but feel frustrated that the date format will not change from the English format. There are options for Short Date/Long Date, but nothing for languages. I would think that is also a problem for organizations that use Spanish.
Microsoft Word has language switches in its formatting logic. BUT, I would rather let ETap handle the merging for me. We should realize that we need to respect the non-English speakers out there. It just seems to be very bad form to have the body of a template in another language, and every date in it written in English.
E.g.: 9-July-2017 in French should be 9-juillet-2017. I know you can do 9-7-2017, but it could be misunderstood to be in September or in July (7 or 9 being the month)
