PLEASE PLEASE bring back the feature that shows a donor on a soft credit when you hover over the gift in the journal. I have a matching gift company with dozens of matching pledges and it is so difficult to find the ones I am looking for to add the payment.

When I am in the matching gift company's journal the matching donor name is not seen.  I have to go into each entry to see who the soft credit is attributed to.  I liked it when I could  hover over the soft credit field in gift type in their journal and the donors name would apppear.

    I had a similar issue and figured out a workaround.  While in the Journal, click on the "Choose Columns" icon.  Check the box next to "Soft Credit" and then click on the "Apply Changes" button.  Then scroll to the far right of the journal, and you'll now be able to see the donor's name listed in each journal entry without having to open it (if there was soft credit applied).  You can click on the "Soft Credit" title and drag it to the left to reorder the columns if you'd like.  Hope that helps!
