Currently our corporate donation form creates a profile in eTapestry as an individual persona. Then we have to go in and change the designation to business. All of this in spite of having fields for company name and job title. This is highly inefficient!. Why can't the form just figure this out, and create the appropriate persona based on the fields present? Upon calling Blackbaud support, they said we have to do the above procedure. Please fix this.
I agree, the fact that a company cannot make an online donation is a major flaw in the system. Not only can a business account not be created right now, there isn't even the ability in the DIY Form to add a field where someone can enter their business name. This not only results in data inconsistencies but the tax receipt being auto made for an individual donor but a company credit card having been used.
