Donors who are having to update their credit or debit cards due to chip additions, which include a new expiration date cannot just enter the same card with the new expiration date, because etapestry/blackbaud processes the card with the old expiration date. When i spoke to support about this they told me to change the expiration date, which was not allowed either. My donors either have to use a different card or create an entirely new account. This is frustrating for the donor and for me as your client. It has happened to two donors in the last month. This is frustrating for the donor who thought they had fixed it last month. We are losing donations and potentially losing donors over this problem in your system. And customer service suggesting I write to you about it as the solution is horrible customer service. They should have fixed it or offered a workable solution.
