Avoide disaster because of password change

When a password was innocently changed by our staff in BBMS, we didn't know that it rendered eTap DIY gift input forms inoperative.  No admonishing text, warning, popup saying that BBMS and eTap nolonger sync, nothing.  The only way we learned that this was a problem was when patrons attempted to make online contribs, couldn't, and we received "Online Failure" emails.  Seems like it would be a simple thing for BBMS and eTap sync state (or disconect) to be monitored when a change is made, or at least some warning text when resetting an important password.

I can understand your frustration and the last thing we want to do is not have your page available for taking donations.  We will look at better ways to either carry passwords over from product to product or give you some type of warning message in the future.
