We need a way to view e-receipts created via Communications prior to the email being sent to confirm the correct data appears in the receipt. We also need a way to obtain a copy of the email after it is sent for documentation purposes. This could be a pdf that is generated when the e-receipt is created or a copy of the email also going to the sender.
With the current system, I am unsure whether the emailed receipts were actually sent to my donors. The only clue I have is that receipt numbers were generated. eTapestry is not helping me care for my donors very well when I can't be sure a receipt was sent. Also, it is important that we document receipts, but there is no mechanism for this when we are unable to retrieve a copy of what was sent.
