As a non-profit, we are trying to reduce the cost to cover these fees. Right now, we average 2.71% with the fee and the transaction fee.

Yes, I agree. I actually submitted a similar request because I didn't notice it was already here.
It would be great to know Blackbaud's time frame for getting this done.

Please, please - do catch up with the times here. I love eTap, but this issue is an old one that everyone else offers. I've actually had donors ask me for this and it's embarrassing. Besides the money from operations - research shows that the majority of donors WILL pay the transaction fee when given the option.

I tracked how many of the non-profit organizations that I contributed to last year allowed/encouraged me to contribute the processing costs, and found a sharp increase over previous years -- nearly half of the organizations allowed me to cover my transaction costs.
It's disappointing to me that Blackbaud is falling behind many other nonprofit contribution platforms in not offering this option for eTapestry users. Is this even on the roadmap for future implementation?
