Offer one-click links/buttons to accept data changes from DIY form submissions

When someone fills out a DIY form, such as a contribution, and eTapestry correctly matches the submission to an existing account in the database, if the user's name, address, email or phone number submitted is different than exists in the database, eTapestry ignores the newly-subkitted information. It is recorded in a journal entry, but that's all. That's not always a bad thing; sometimes users mis-type their information, and we wouldn't want eTapestry automatically changing their account or persona information. But most of the time, we want to update the account information -- and eTapestry makes this surprisingly hard to do.

We need to find the account, click on Journal, click to open the Note about the submission, and carefully peruse what information has changed. But there's no easy way at that point to make changes to the account data. I often have to take a screenshot of the journal note, close the note, return to the Persona screen, and manually re-type the address of email from the screenshot -- a process that is time-consuming, error-prone, and makes me curse eTapestry every time.

There should be a way to click a link or button, probably in that journal note screen, to "Accept" (or "Change" or "Update") next to each change reported in the Jounal note, where clicking the link/button would update the account of persona information. This would alow users to selectively accept or ignore each change. (If the user types their address as "Street" but eTapestry has the address corrected version of "St", you'd ignore the change; if the user has a new address or new phone number, a single click could update that field.
