Oh my goodness, 100%. I just spent a couple hours creating a confirmation email only to be told that it won't work with the DIY forms. It is nuts to have this option and not be able to use it across the application..
This would be so helpful. We want our confirmation email template to include a donate button and to look more sophisticated which is not really possible with the classic template.
