Create a feature to verify the selected Credit Card Type corresponds with the inital digit of the Credit Card number entered (e.g., American Express if the card number begins with 3; Visa if it begins with 4; MasterCard if it begins with 5; Discover if it begins with 6, etc.)

In addition to promoting healthy data, this will also help organizations using third-party transaction processors (such as IATS) ensure that online donors cannot select an enabled Credit Card Type but enter and process the card number of a disabled Credit Card Type.

As Blackbaud support noted: "this feature does exist within Blackbaud Checkout, however that only applies if you are using BBMS as your payment processor."
