seems like the oversight of the century that I cannot delete images that I've uploaded or folders from the Drag and &Drop editor. After 3 different users added images for a few newsetters it getting VERY MESSY. Also strange you don't have a common media library for DIY forms and & newsletters.
I 100% agree with this. I find it very annoying that I have to wade through old photos to find the one that I want/need. Even if the images can't be removed, being able to archive them would be a great substitute idea.
We've recently undertaken a complete re-brand and it is very frustrating and time-consuming to have to work alongside hundreds of old image files that we can't move or delete.
Totally agree with all those who have raised the need to be able to edit and clean up the image stock in etap. We've used etapestry for five or so years and our image stock is a mess, we're also about to rebrand, so to be able to clean up and maintain this part of etap would be amazing. I hope this is looked into, please!
100% agree, there really needs to be a way to clean up (and delete from) the image file. We have thousands of images sitting there, which has subsequently caused massive issues in database emails, whereby the wrong images have been pulled through by the system (due to them having the same file names in the image folder).
Yes, I totally agree with the commenters! We have been using ETap for a good few years, and all our e-newsletters send from there. The images folder is now huge and SO messy. Plus, we re-branded, so we now have a problem with people selecting out of date logos and other images that we can't get rid of. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can you resolve this one. It would be extremely appreciated I suspect by many of your users! Thank you!
Hi, I have just come across this and it is so messy - it really needs to be looked into as users are using old headers etc and it is causing errors. I hope a solution can be found soon!
This is a huge thing that has been overlooked for quite some time. We can't reorder/rename files in either editor. We can't delete at all from the Drag & Drop editor media folder and the standard/classic editor is a pain to do each image separately. I don't know where all these files are stored but I imagine there's a ton or wasted space due to our inability to do anything with the files once they're uploaded.
Yes its an absolute pain!
