We need better integration with Just Giving - remove guest checkout

Having been forced to move to Just Giving with the closure of EDH and having been assured that this is fully integrates with Etapestry we are very disappointed. The integration is nowhere near as good. Gone have the days of receiving email notifcations of donations on fundraising pages, suspiciosuly the rate of opt out has increased significantly and those who have opted in can only be found by trawling through reports. The guest checkout system means that donations are not credited to accounts already in our system, so we no longer have a true picture of an individuals donations . The whole system seems to be geared to JG receiving as much as informaiton as they want and us receiving next to nothing - our database grew extensively with EDH and we are no loosing significant data by using JG.

    Agreed - just discovered that Guest Checkout donors just get dumped in a Guest Checkout record even if they have opted in to further contact! We can't afford to lose opt in-ers like this as they are very hard to come by!

    Data needs to be integrated into Etap. Donor is given option to keep in touch with ministry, but the data does not come into system.
