When recording Journal Entry payments, there are two notes fields where our staff may enter notes: the "Journal Note Text" field on the left side of the Journal Entry screen and the "Transaction Gift Type Note" field on the right side of the screen. We periodically want to generate a list of en Journal Entry notes to see if any follow-up, recognition changes, or other actions need to be taken.
Here's the problem: while you can construct a Query for "Journal Note Text" and/or "Transaction Gift Type Note", you can only DISPLAY a column called "Notes" in the Query results -- and those notes are the "Journal Note Text" field. So while you can build a query for "Transaction Gift Type Note", you can't display the results!
This seems like a simple omission which would be easy to add to the list of available columns to display in Query results.
(It turns out, if you build a Query for "Transaction Gift Type Note", and then use that Query in a Report, the Report can include a column for "Transaction Gift Type Note". It's just missing from the Query results columns.)
