My organization finds reports like the Fund Activity Summary and the Giving Dynamics report incredibly helpful, primarily because of the graph that generates when you run the report.

The issue that we've run into is that those reports are based off of funds, not user accounts. We have organized our eTap funds by Annual Appeal, Unrestricted, Restricted, and other various funds that are specific to certain events. We have business that give to different funds based on our events, and government & foundation grants that are sometimes considered restricted, sometimes considered unrestricted. Even our individual donors give to what are technically different funds -- sometimes it's for a specific event (like a ticket sale), and sometimes it's just a general, yearly donation.

Unfortunately, we can't see a visual representation of how much a specific foundation has given, or how much individuals have given despite the fund it was organized into. When creating our Annual Report, I had to sort of go back and break apart some of these numbers and create a graph with another program. Our staff and board are incredibly visual people, so having a graph is SUPER helpful for us. It seems like a feature that would be useful for many folks, too.

So the idea is -- it would be great if we were able to generate a graph for any type of report AND/OR if there was a standard report made that could be customized to the extent where I could use Account Types to organize a graph's results.
