New Re-design

Thanks a lot Blackbaud/eTapestry for a crappy re-design.

Why don't you do something that really helps the user who spends most of their day using eTapestry?

Why couldn't the money spent on this tragic re-design been put towards something useful like the ability to do split recurring donations?

But no! Functions are now gone for an ego-ridden design team aesthetic that makes eTapestry more cumbersome and less useful.

Bah!

There is too much space on the headers on the accounts.  We don't need that much space.  Doesn't make anything clearer.  Shortens the spaces in your window to see what is happening in the account.

I agree, I don't like the new design at all.

2 complaints..... When you find someone, you used to be able to see their emails right off, now you have to open the account to see the email.  Lot of extra work..  / Also, you used to be able to see how many pages each individual had, now I can't seem to find the bottom of someone's account.  I like to be able to view that person's acct. by scrolling to what page I wanted.

I like the new design. So much cleaner and easier to use. I really like the More records instead of having to go next and next to additional pages. There are several features that make it easier to use.

I appreciate your thoughts on the new UI design.  While it may just look like a design, there is a lot of new functionality that comes with some of those designs.  It is also important to note that this is just the start and as we continue to touch other ares of the product, functionality will continue to expand.

As far as the request of split recurring transactions, that is not on our roadmap at this time.  I can however see the usefulness and will continue to see if this is something that we would put into the system.

Please feel free to reach out to me directly if you would like to discuss either item some more.
