Currently in eTapestry, you can create a pledge with a corresponding payment schedule that allows for multi-year payments. However, the current design of the system does not allow you to change the campaign when a pledge payment is received. For example, we received a pledge of $25k payable of 5 years. The pledge and first payment are recorded in FY23 Campaign, now that the second payment has arrived, the ability to count the new payment as FY24 Campaign within that pledge does not exist. All subsequent pledge payments are recorded as FY23 Campaign, or payments entered as a "new" gift are not counted towards the pledge schedule making it appear more of the pledge is outstanding than it actually is. It would make clean and accurate record keeping of gifts MUCH easier to have all the details within one journal entry.
