I'm writing to propose an enhancement for eTapestry's notification features.

Having previously used RE, I found the email notification feature for fundraising portfolios extremely valuable. I believe similar functionality would be very beneficial for our staff fundraising team. Ideally, they would receive automatic email alerts whenever a gift is recorded from a donor within their assigned portfolios.

While I understand eTapestry positions itself as an entry-level database, I believe email notifications would be a significant asset for smaller organizations. Frankly, I was surprised to learn this feature isn't currently available.

Is there any possibility of adding email notifications for gift recording in the future?
