It would be incredibly useful if it were possible to query recurring gifts based on their Recurring Gift Schedule start date.

For example, I need to procure a list of all new gifts made after a specific date, necessitating the exclusion of any recurring gifts with a schedule that started before that date. I do want to include any new recurring gifts made after the specific date, so querying only one-off gifts/payments is not the right solution.

At the moment, it's impossible to query this (confirmed with support).
