That's nice to know but I'd like to have the Largest Received Fund field in a report that includes lots of other fields such as last received (amount, fund, date) first received (amount, fund, date), etc. so I don't think this will help my situation.

We do not have a Largest Received Fund summary field, but you can use a query to find the largest received amount and then report on the date, fund, and received amount.  The query field is titled "Largest Transaction” and its located under the Amounts and Journal categories.
