Summary Fields fail to include pledge payments, split payments, and other necessary gift transactions - resulting in false data reports

There is an error in the summary field data. When I pull a report for "Largest Gift Amount," eTap fails to recognize any gifts that are inputted as pledge payments.  For instance, I have a donor who gave $30,0000, which we recorded by fulfilling the pledge on his account - but eTap records this as a "Payment" rather than a gift. Now, when I pull a report for this donor, his Largest Gift Amount returns an amount of only $1,000 because it is calculating only "Gift" transactions but it fails to recognize Split Transactions, Payments, and Recurring Gifts.  The same thing happens for other summary data fields: First Gift Date, First Gift Amount, etc.

Could you please reconfigure the summary fields to include all necessary gift transaction data?  Right now, we are depending on these fields to give us accurate results in order to properly cultivate our donors.

    Malissa,

I believe you could remedy this by also exporting the summary field Largest Pledged Amount. If there is a pledge payment, there is also a corresponding pledge. Unless, the point you are trying to make is that you would like to actually know what is the largest cash transaction this person has made (if they made multiple payments on a single pledge))--in which case, I believe using the summary field Largest Received Amount would do the trick. If that is still not working, perhaps the field Largest Received Amount is not properly exporting pledge payments for you.
