Add "open" donation amount to Membership page.

I set up a membership page for people to join and/or renew their membership. There is no option available for people to choose to input an additional donation any amount ($5, $10, $100 or even $1). This seems like a no brainer and shouldn't be hard to add as an option.. Not sure why it is not currently allowed.

    I just posted about this... Apparently 2 years later and it's still the same way - no change.  I don't understand.

    I agree that an additional donation option on the membership page is a great idea! After all, membership to a nonprofit organization often leads to donation.
