I would find it helpful for the "Recently Viewed" list for for queries and reports to retain the most recent, say 8-10, queries and reports regardless of when run - this session, earlier today, or last week.   As I tend to rerun the same queries / reports with some regularity, this  would save repeatedly drilling into a long list of categories, then a long list of reports to find the one that I am looking for, generally one that I looked at earlier this week.
