We are trying to segment our email list by active (opened an email from us within the last 6 months) to inactive so that we can be more judicious about who we send our emails too and stop emailing to people who no longer open our emails. As of now, there is no easy way to query on email opens. The only way to do it is to go into each individual email delivery report and create a custom query for that email open list. Then, I have to create an insane about of compound queries. It would be SIGNIFICANTLY easier and way more time efficient if we could query on email opens.
This is a state of the art idea that would be a huge selling feature for eTapestry. All you'd have to do is tap into the code used in your canned Delivery Report that shows who opened the email, then just report back the date (you could also show the subject line). This would be so powerful for organizations to keep their email list current and stay out of the junk email folder. As the original poster said it's insanely time consuming to do it by opening each individual delivery report. Please consider this idea!!
