New organization 'getting started' checklist

The training videos are very beginner oriented and difficult and time consuming/repetitive to watch for someone who knows how to navigate a database. It would be very helpful to have a checklist for new organizations to get started with the system, with links to 'how to' in the knowledgebase for organizations/users with database experience. EG: 

1. Update organization information

2. Create Receipts

     (a) Set queries for receipts by FUND, or DATE, or Both
     (b) Create receipt templates in communications, copy basic receipt and edit. Re-copy for each query segment or new receipt template needed.

3. Create gift entry and constituent entry policy. (See examples here...)

     (a) pro's and cons to common issues, split gifting (if you use this, you will need to make accomodations in receipts, letters, reports, etc)

4. Create online donation forms/link to website

    (a) step by step....

5. Create reports

     (a) common reports, set recurrence, etc.
