Adding a merged field to automatically add a percent increase for next year donation

In the correspondence, add a field to allow a percentage increase from their previous gift.  i.e. Thanks for your gift of X and then suggest donation of Y based on a percentage increase?

    This seems like an easy addition to the correspondence toolbar and professional companies do this as a best practice with gift strings.
