If you create a query and you need to change something to clean up your data, if it returns a large number of results, every time you edit a record it goes BACK TO THE BEGINNING of the report, resulting in excess keystrokes and wasted time and effort. It is a total pain. If you could make it allow "in line" editing and stay where you are in the page or query so you can move to the next record to edit, it would save so much time. Having the system back to the beginning  of a multi page report and then having to find were you last were is highly inefficient. This type of functionality is available in a lot of software out there this is archaic .
