Currently the "TOP DONORS" tile display has a drop-down list of reporting options for the date range, but it does not include an option to specify the user's own choice for a specific data range. Other tile options, such as the "APPROACH PERFORMANCE" tile do allow for a date range to be specified.  The "TOP DONORS" tile should also have this option.
