It appears that your current DIY Forms can't accommodate PayPal. I have not been able to find a plug in for that processing as well.
I understand that I could add a section and type in some text on the DIY form saying; 'click here to donate through PayPal' that redirects them to the PayPal page. It's just that the PayPal donation can't be handled directly through the DIY form, entered into eTapestry, and managed effectively and efficiently as desired with the "World's Best Fundraising & Constituent Relationship Management System".
Having them click the embedded hyperlink to PayPal, it would require our members/visitors to be sent off of eTapestry. They would not be completing a DIY Form, rather just submitting a donation to PayPal which we would have to enter into eTapestry manually.
The reason why this is attractive is the financial benefit for us as a non-profit. PayPal has no cost to either party (the non-profit) or the individual submitting their donation.
I can empathize that this would have a negative cash source for Blackbaud (fees through BBMS). I'm assuming that the BBMS revenue source is the main reason why you would not enable this feature.
However, I would suggest that it has a greater payback for Blackbaud's client/customer satisfaction and focus in providing more income for the non-profit's they serve. As a I client, we are already paying a premium price for services as a small non-proft.
Thank you for your consideration.
