In a communication, there should be no "spaces" where there are merge tags without values.

For example, a thank you might say, "Thank you for the donation of [Received] to our organization on [Date] [Tribute Type] [Tribute Name]."

If this isn't a tribute donation, and therefore there are no values in tribute type or tribute name, there will be a space between the date and the period at the end of the sentence. It looks like an error and unprofessional.

    I agree - same thing with addressing a letter or creating mailing labels. For example, if Company (UDF) is blank, then a Iine or space should be removed.
