We waste a lot of time looking through journal entries trying to make sure that the donor has a valid gift aid declaration form. Sometimes the donor has filled the declaration in 2003 or 2001 and they have been giving a monthly recurring gift ever since, in that case there are a lot of journal entries to trawl through. So we have resorted to putting a one-liner in the notes of the donor, visible on the home page of the donor. Instead we would just like some form of automatic indication as to whether the gift aid declaration is for one-off donations only (so the declaration has a start and end date), or if it is on all donations and until they let us know otherwise, or only on recurring gifts etc.
