Sometimes I have a list of donors that I would like to keep in a custom accounts query, but the list is too long to make it possible to manually create that query. For example, our general mailing list is over 400 constituents. After we pull it out of eTapestry, we subtract some constituents for various reasons. If I discover at this point that I'm missing some fields in the report with contact information that I'm sending to the printer, and need to re-pull the list, I then have to re-subtract those constituents from the new list. It would be easier if I could upload the cleaned-up list of constituents who will receive the mailing, and then pull a report with the additional fields.
I think this is the same or similar request to ETAP-I-444. This is much needed!
There are all sorts of reasons for this feature! Say you export a list, take a few Accounts out for a mail merge in some other software. To mark those Mass Interactions, the Mass Update feature is handy. BUT not if the query doesn't match the actual mailing list you used.
This could be easily implemented, even if it was restricted to adding a batch of Account Numbers. OR add a feature where any query can be converted to a Custom Account Query. Then we could tweak a list manually without having to rely on criteria.
