Allow to cap/set a maximum number for tickets on DYI forms

Some events have limited spacing and this ensures you do not oversell tickets for your event.

This limitation is the only thing stopping us from moving all of our event booking away from Eventbrite to Etapestry. This functionality would be absolutely invaluable to our charity and would mean that everything we do could be run through Etapestry.

Having to go back to sponsors and told them we've oversold is embarrassing. Please add ASAP

Seems like a fairly large oversight to not have this functionality for events. The client I'm working for was asking for this feature, but I have to tell them the system doesn't support it.

Please please please add this feature. This makes it very difficult to do event registrations using what we are already paying for!

It's 2023 and this still isn't a functionality.... pretty basic.

Having limited capacity for event tickets is really basic stuff. I didn't realize how difficult it would be to build in events, and lacking some of this basic functionality. I'm pretty disappointed so far.

Please can this feature be reviewed? The last admin comment on it was in 2016 when it was not a priority. It's definitely needed, at the moment we are using Eventbrite to limit the tickets but this makes double work for us as we have to enter the information back into the CRM. Completely against the whole purpose of having a CRM don't you think?

It would save us having to monitor the number of tickets all the time! It's really important that we don't oversell as we can't go over our fire capacity.

Yes, yes, yes! We need to be able to limit the number of tickets. When an event sells out FAST, it's tricky to monitor!

I think that in a pandemic/post pandemic world, having a limited number of tickets is imperative. Our organization has to use Eventbrite now.

It is pretty unbelieveable that this function doesn't exist. All of our events are limited to the space available. We bought eTap in order to streamline all of our donations, memberships, tickets, etc. Now we'll have to use EventBrite. PLEASE MAKE THIS A PRIORITY. I can't believe there are only 38 votes for this so please search the system and see if other people have created similar tickets. Argh.

I was actually told I could do this when signing up for eTapestry so I'm SUPER disappointed to find I can't. Limiting the number of signups is imperative, and actually makes event diy forms useless without this feature.

This is a much needed feature for many events and classes that our museum holds. Please consider adding this functionality. I understand it is available in the Raiser's Edge software.

Please, please, please add this function. We cannot use this feature for all of our events without a limit.

It would be great if this feature could be added - kind of doesn't make sense without it.

It's almost ridiculous that it's not a standard feature. Almost all events have a participation limit which makes this so strange that you can't.
