notating automatic template email receipt in the donor's Journal

When donors make an online donation using the form on our website, that donor automatically receives an email receipt of that donation (which I set up as a template)  I would like to see this email noted in the Journal for the donor in case I need to double check that they did receive the receipt.  Please let me know if this is possible.

    I don't think the automatic email is noted in the Journal or copied to the organization--and I think that is a real negative with eTapestry.  I'm mostly concerned with verifying for any given donation to our website that an email receipt went out and what the acknowledgment said.
