YES! Recurring gifts are the goal of every fundraising professional! I do recurring gifts to 2 public radio stations and I GET AN EMAIL EVERY SINGLE MONTH! And because I professionals at one of the stations, I know that they are automatically generated. This one-off stinks.

Not only would it be useful to have recurring gifts automatically receive a thank you and donation receipt, but it would also be helpful if there was the option to automatically generate a single receipt at the end of the year as opposed to one every month. The alternate option to monthly receipting is to generate one at the end of the year for the yearly total, but this is even more burdensome as there is the potential for thousands of receipt needing to be created at one time.

I absolutely agree!  I need this feature too...the current work around -- of creating a report that goes to my email inbox and then putting the burden on me to manually generate one-off documents for each recently processed recurring payment -- is too burdensome!
