Let users edit the success message that appears once a donor donates on a DIY form.

It would be great if, similar to other online tools like Formstack for example, users could edit the "success message" that appears after a donor uses a DIY form. This way, the message that a donor receives can be tailored to reiterate the mission of the foundation/charity and how the donor's gift supports that mission.

I agree!  We are doing a trip application under the volunteer signup and it says thanks for volunteering!

The current page and copy isn't very donor-centric - I'd like to be able to let people know about the specific impact their gift to my organization will make. That seems like fundraising 101 to me.

I agree.  We use an update form where alumni can update their contact info and the message says thanks for registering or thanks for signing up and it sounds weird with the form that we're using.  Being able to edit this depending on the form we're using would be great!

Yes please! This seems necessary to compete with all other ecommerce platforms at this time.

Absolutely needed.  The information there is good but every organization must give a quick personalized thank you since the system does not allow you to send a thank you letter along with the tax receipt.  So until a thank you letter can be sent, the message on screen must be personalized with the organization's message.

YES YES YES-  This is an important feature that needs to be changed....

I would like to know how we may be able to change the landing page online after someone makes an online payment through our eTap DIY form. Currently the landing page the donor receives is very basic and just stops there, instead of redirecting the donor back to our website or giving them other options. Are there any alternatives?

"Transaction Successful" just leaves the donor stuck.  They should be able to redirect back to our website or better yet, be able to post on social media that they just made a donation!

Will this be completed in the near future?  I would like to utilize the ability to change my messaging for Giving Tuesday.

    Mike,

Thank you. To promote DIY forms, this would be a great enhancement and increase the forms useability.

    Have a wonderful day,

It would be great to create our own message that appears right after the donor donates on our website. Please take this suggestion to consideration asap!

YES, please make this change. My folks are registering for an event and it is saying thank you for volunteering. Or don't send the email at all and just send the confirmation email.

This would be very helpful as all forms are different and it varies what they are for.

Please change - I use the volunteer form for a registration for so when  I have a registration they are thanked for becoming a volunteer - makes things confusing

Yes! When our customers purchase a ticket, they get a success message that says "thank you for your contribution ($ticket amount)." Event though it wasn't a contribution but a purchase. It may thow some peopel off.

This most certainly is needed!  I am working with communications consultants and this is one of the first recommendations they had for me and I can't implement it.  It reads as though one is "done" when they've signed up for the newsletter, but it is really just the beginning of the conversation.

Yes! We are using a Contact form for a different purpose than was intended and the "Registration Successful" page now does not make sense. The success page needs to be editable in the "Settings Editor," similar to customizing which template to use to send an automatic email.

This would be incredibly helpful! It would reduce donor confusion after they sign up online for a recurring donation if their schedule/frequency could be displayed with their first installment amount. As it is now, they are only acknowledged for the first installment amount and are left wondering if their recurring gift was a success.

I would love this option as well for all the DIY Forms. I think the current:

    "Registration Successful

<NAME>, thank you for signing up.

You will be receiving an email confirmation at <EMAIL>"

makes it really confusing if a person has just submitted a contact form - i.e. not really registering or signing up for anything. Maybe a quick fix would be to change it to "Form submitted successfully" & "thank your for submitting a form on <organizations> website. You will be receiving an email confirmation at <email>".
