Individual emails can be based on edited versions of email templates.  Unfortunately, these edits are not recorded in the Journal entry.  For example, if I send an email to confirm an appointment, the Journal entry will have the template date for the appointment instead of the actual date.  The Journal should record the email that is actually sent not the template that the email is based on.
