It seems inefficient to run queries to find all of your donors whose credit cards are about to expire and then call each of them to update their credit card information. It also seems very insecure. I feel very uncomfortable calling constituents and asking them for their credit card information over the phone; if I was the constituent I would be uneasy sharing my credit card information over the phone. It also seems very outdated to do it in this way. If I was a constituent receiving a phone all requesting my credit card information how could I be sure they really are who they say they are and I would also question whether the organization is up on best practices because this method feels decades old.
