Automatically wrap text in Note Field UDFs when viewed within account records

We have several UDFs configured as note fields.  If the amount of text saved in these fields exceeds the width of the formatted page, the text continues in a single line to the right, forcing the user to scroll to read it completely. 

It would be great if the text could automatically wrap onto a new line instead.

    I noticed that a new idea has been submitted (I-970) which states that the text does wrap once saved for them.  As noted above and seen in the attached screen shot, it doesn't work that way for us.  Could it be due, at least in part, to several of our UDFs originally being set up as Text Box fields and then being reassigned to Note fields during our data clean up project?
