Being able to see the year (vs. ONLY the month/day) would be very helpful. I'm not sure how only the month/day are helpful without the year.

This would prevent from accidentally selecting Gift vs Pledge Payment when there is a pledge in there. And then avoiding sending open pledge letters to those who actually paid but it was recorded in-properly.
