Optimizing eTapestry templates so they are responsive and mobile-device friendly

Hi! eTapestry templates are not currently responsive, meaning they are not optimized for mobile use and will not display full screen on a mobile device or tablet.  The majority of emails are now viewed on phones and tablets over computers.  Please help us better communicate with our constituents by making templates responsive and mobile-friendly.  Thanks!!

I met with one of our donors yesterday who was having difficulty making a donation online. Because she is elderly (but very sharp), I assumed it was because of unfamiliarity with technology. She has an ipad using the same technology as my iphone so I tested the donation site by making a $20 donation.

Here's what I found. It's totally confusing and unacceptable and here's why. 1. the writing in red says to use your 'mouse' to scroll down. There is obviously no mouse on ipads so that word should be eliminated and it should just say "scroll down"2. more problematic is that when you press "submit payment", it doesn't bring you to the payment screen at all. Instead you get a greyed out version of the previous screen

If you don't scroll UP which is the opposite of the instructions, you don't see the payment screen at all. The little grey up arrow at the bottom is very hard to see and sometimes doesn't show up at all so a donor can get very confused as to how to proceed which is what happened to her.

I buy online all the time and have never seen a payment sequence as awkward as this one. It works better on a laptop or desktop but even there it is not particularly well-designed. As a charity we rely on donations and frustrating donors should be something to avoid.

This should be an immediate priority! The vast majority of emails are read on a mobile device. We look unprofessional if we do not have dynamic templates for mobile use and sending a mass email (e.g., an event announcement or a newsletter) without a template simply using the general builder does not look as engaging.

This is essential. I'm surprised they haven't made this already
