monthly automatic e-mails for recurring donors

Our donors receive an automatic e-mail when they first set up a recurring donation with us. We receive an e-mail when their credit card is run each month after that. However, there is no way to set up an automatic thank you from us. We have to send it manually. It would save time, and help us provide good stewardship to our faithful donors to have an automatic note of thanks go out at the same time we receive a notice of the monthly payment.
