Automatic email receipts for recurring donations.

Many donors expect a receipt for their ongoing donations, regardless of the frequency or amount. Currently, when a donor signs up for a new recurring donation plan using our DIY form, the donor only receives one email receipt upon signup, and none again when they're charged again. It's far too much work manually sending receipts to thousands of donors with all different recurring plans.

I'm very surprised and slightly bothered that this simple automation doesn't already exist in eTapestry. I'd love to see this in the near future.

      100% percent agree. We are considering changing database products because this missing feature is so essential to us. More and more donors are giving with recurring donations, and we don't have time to micro-manage this.

      I agree with this. Canadian nonprofits are required to receipt with receipt number for each donation. The manual process takes a very long time and is hard for nonprofits with limited staff.

      YES!!! Automated alerts and receipts for recurring gifts is a no brainer! This lack is causing me hours of extra work.
