This is a serious short coming of the eTap system.  Gifts are exported to Quick Books and then the two systems are reconciled for agreement.  If I miss UNCHECKING a recurring payment, my reconciliation is off.  There is no reason that I can think of that recurring gifts should be auto finalized.
